We recently completed an £840,000 refurbishment loan for an office-to-residential conversion in Hackney, East London.
The borrower has acquired two adjacent offices on the second floor of a mixed-use building and has obtained planning permission to convert these units from commercial use to residential. This area has witnessed a growing trend in such projects, and the finished units are expected to be in high demand.
The plan is to transform these spaces into two self-contained flats: one with one bedroom and the other with two bedrooms.
