LEADERSHIP TRANSITION AT AVAMORE CAPITAL

London, 26th March – Avamore Capital announces that D’mitri Zaprzala (DZ) will be leaving the business this summer, following 3.5 years as CEO.

Since joining Avamore, DZ has played a key role in leading the company through a rapidly evolving market environment. During his tenure, the UK has seen multiple changes to the Bank of England base rate and a number of different Prime Ministers. Amidst this volatility, DZ provided a steady leadership foundation, enabling Avamore to maintain a strong market position and continue delivering for its brokers and borrowers.

Speaking on his departure, Michael Dean, Co-Founder of Avamore Capital, said:
“On behalf of the Board and the entire team, I want to thank DZ for his hard work and dedication over the past three and a half years. He has been a valued member of the leadership team, and we wish him every success in the next stage of his career.”

Zuhair Mirza, Co-Founder of Avamore Capital, added:
“DZ has led the business through a period of major economic and market shifts. We appreciate all his efforts and look forward to seeing what he does next.”

As part of Avamore’s continued expansion, Greg Tarn recently joined as Managing Director, bringing extensive experience in origination, structuring, and funding. Additionally, a further Managing Director focusing on Credit and Risk will join in May, further strengthening the leadership team and reinforcing Avamore’s commitment to delivering high-quality, solutions-led lending.

The two Managing Directors will be supported by a strong and dynamic executive management team, including:

  • Nick Duke – Director of Finance & Operations

  • Adam Butler – Director of Sales & Marketing

  • Ed Blundell – Senior Underwriter

  • Harry Yates – Head of Credit Analysis

With a robust leadership structure and exciting technology advancements on the horizon, Avamore remains well-positioned to enhance its offering and continue providing innovative, flexible funding solutions for developers across the UK.
