London, 17 March 2025 – Avamore Capital, a leading specialist lender in UK development, refurbishment and bridging finance, is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg Tarn as Managing Director, effective today. Greg’s arrival marks an important step in Avamore’s continued growth, reinforcing its commitment to providing flexible, solutions-led funding to developers across the UK.
Greg, who will oversee Avamore’s commercial operations, brings a wealth of experience in real estate finance, having previously run his own family office lending business, Tarn & Co. Prior to that, he held positions at a specialist mezzanine lender as well as roles within both JP Morgan and UBS where he developed a deep understanding of structured finance, risk management, and complex deal execution. His expertise in origination, structuring, and funding will be instrumental in driving Avamore’s future ambitions.
Alongside Greg, Avamore now boasts a strong and well-established emerging leadership team in place for the future, providing continuity and stability as the business continues to scale. Furthermore, a further credit-focused MD-level hire is expected to join the business in early May.
