Avamore Capital were delighted to participate in the Finance Professional Show this month. An event illustrating a vibrant and active funding market, Avamore Capital were proud to play a part in celebrating industry successes by hosting a stand and participating in key discussions across the day.
Joining the fourth FP show, Avamore Capital gained valuable connections with likeminded professionals and have positive predictions for future collaborations. The FP Show, modelled on a traditional expo, has been put together to produce a united front for the finance industry, re-kindling face-to-face interaction and building solid relationships to nurture beneficial collaborations. With Avamore Capital’s key philosophies being innovation, first class service, hard work, integrity and commitment to partners, the FP Show was the ideal opportunity to put their genuinely personable approach into practice.
Principal Michael Dean took an active role in the afternoon panel session, ‘Industry PR and how brokers can benefit from the record number of lenders in the market’. Focusing in on how brokers can make the most of the funding scope presented to them and looking into how regulation is shaping the customer journey, the panel threw up some insightful thoughts and dynamic discussions.
Talks focused in on the knowledge gap within the market hampering positive growth. James Lovett, BDM for Funding Circle expressed concerns on behalf of small businesses who remain largely unaware of the range of finance opportunities available to them. Johnny Stevens, Co-founder of Rhizome PR corroborated this observation stating that 90% of business owners still go to their banks for financial support due to the lack of knowledge of alternative options and so, conclusions were drawn that education is key in encouraging positive progression in the finance market.
CEO of Nucleus Commercial Finance, Chirag Shah commented that the responsibility stops with brokers to nurture relationships and help clients understand alternative options. Avamore Capital’s Michael Dean supported this observation and placed great importance on the value of broker advice in offering transparent knowledge and leading borrowers through the process. With 90% of Avamore Capital’s enquiries coming directly from brokers, Dean expressed the importance of lenders reaching out and sharing knowledge across the board to successfully reach and benefit the borrower market. Avamore Capital are always looking for ways to share their expertise and knowledge in order for borrowers to make informed decisions.
The Finance Professional Show opened up engaging, exciting and informative discussions. The team at Avamore Capital are looking forward to building new connections and learning from the advice and relationships which have emerged from their participation in the show. Avamore Capital Principal, Michael Dean commented ‘we are pleased to have participated in this year’s show. It has given us the opportunity to integrate our welcoming and enthusiastic team into the lending market. Avamore Capital are particularly pleased to have been able to take a prominent role in the show debates and we are looking forward to exercising the knowledge that we have gained from personal and wider discussions’. Avamore Capital are already looking ahead to next year’s show and are keen to continue learning from the industry.
